We take the safety of both our staff and our clients seriously. Below is a brief outline of some of the steps we have taken and the measures we have in place to ensure that everyone remains safe and we reduce the risk of spreading the virus.
Under to the current government guidance in place, we are able to carry out filming for our clients.
We can still conduct interviews whilst staying at a safe distance, and we can film inside buildings, within our studio and outside if necessary.
The main limitation is space, as our camera operator and producer will need space to operate and to keep a safe distance. If you are able to provide space and ensure we limit the number of people on set to an absolute minimum, then most scenarios are safe to film in by following our simple procedures below.
If you want to know whether or not we could film for you, then please email Sunjay directly via [email protected], and we can learn more about your requirements and provide an immediate answer.

Our health and safety policies and procedures:
To ensure Life Media UK and our customers meet their legal obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Etc Act 1974, Management of Health and Safety at Work 1999 and those guidelines as set out by The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (England) Regulations 2020, the following controls should be in place for our staff and customers when work is still required, and we are re-introducing staff to the working environment safely for business continuity for ourselves and our customers.
Our strategy to enable us to return to work safely is as follows:
- Before returning to work, all Life Media UK staff have completed a health questionnaire to ensure we do not put any worker at risk.
- Staff have been instructed to travel in separate vehicles.
- We will ensure all sites we are due to film at have the correct and adequate safety controls in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
- We ask that all staff members contact us before each working day to identify if there are any persons within their household showing symptoms associated with COVID-19, or are generally unwell. If any staff member or person within their household is unwell, then that staff member is not permitted to work and is advised to self-isolate in line with all Government and Public Health England guidance.
- Signage will be displayed throughout our premises advising of social distancing and hand washing.
- Appropriate PPE should be worn by all at all times when at work in line with current guidance, including gloves and masks where appropriate.
- Face masks/coverings should be worn during times where social distancing rules cannot be adhered to during the working day.
- Hand sanitiser is provided to staff for times when access to hand washing facilities is not immediately available, and for use while moving around the filming site.
- All our staff are advised to wear clean clothes each day, and will wash their hands and arms thoroughly and frequently during the working day.
- All staff are provided with anti-bacterial spray to sanitise surfaces or areas they frequently touch. This includes all pieces of equipment used and touched throughout the day. All Life Media UK staff are formally instructed to wipe all surfaces they may touch before and after use, to reduce virus spread.
- All staff must wipe over equipment before and after use, such as cameras, lighting, microphones etc.
- Staff must bring any food required for the workday with them, rather than going out during rest breaks, to minimise contact with others.
- A distance of 2 meters will be maintained at all times from co-workers and customer staff, where works are carried out away from our premises.
- As a customer we will not ask that you touch anything we have touched without it first being wiped over. All surfaces touched by Life Media UK staff while working on customer sites must be sprayed with anti-bacterial spray to sanitise.
