Bringing technology to life with a video marketing strategy

We had a fantastic time diving into the future and filming with robots with Insphere; A specialised independent and impartial metrology business. Insphere supports its clients by adopting advanced, innovative metrology systems that enable a step-change in manufacturing performance. They ensure the precision and accuracy of the manufacturing down to the micron level.

Our Manchester team was at two of Insphere’s client’s research facilities, AMRC Wales and Factory 2050 in Sheffield to create a suite of promotional videos and bring the IONA technology to life.

What did Insphere need to get across to its audience?

It was essential to demonstrate how manufacturing is changing, the vision and impact Insphere can have through industrial automation and how they do that through their technology.  

How did we achieve this?

We created an entire 360º video strategy that covers the vision for the company in a promo video, testimonial videos, product demo with explanations, social content and video blog content. We set up cameras in and around the robot to show what their systems do and how they deliver large amounts of complex information in an easy to digest way. That’s why a video strategy was perfect. 

Why did Insphere choose us for this project?

The firm wanted to raise awareness in large volumes, they wanted more content for their long sales process, and they needed to demo the product to audiences globally. So, we managed the project, and rather than creating a video to fit in with their overall campaign; we created a video strategy to lead the campaign.

When a business is planning its marketing strategy it needs to be video leading the campaign and not the other way around to get better ROI results and to create a big impact in large volumes.

How did we distil complex information into an easy to watch promotional film?

We always deliver ‘film with thought’, and this was a prime example with Insphere. Firstly, we took them through a discovery meeting to know their business and their audience. Then, we visited their premises to understand their products, concepts and solutions through our creative sessions and by drawing out complex information. We also worked with them to overcome the high-level security access with lots of preparation and planning, and we were able to provide a team from our Manchester office with easy access to Sheffield and North Wales.
