Muscle and Medals is finally here!…(almost)
Our documentary Muscle and Medals is being released on iTunes and Amazon Prime on the 2nd February and on Google Play on the 24th Feb! It has been a long nearly 4 year journey from start to finish, so we are chuffed that it’s finally being distributed!
You may not have seen the trailer before so I’ve included it in the post. Muscle and Medals is the story of bodybuilding hopeful Romane Lanceford and his journey through the fitness industry from the novice who can’t win the big shows, to the overweight man in hospital facing potential life changing surgery through to….well I won’t ruin it for you!
We worked with Bitmax to make this whole thing possible and they have been great. This is our first ever venture into the commercial documentary world. Previously all of our documentaries have been either for charity or personal projects that we’ve chosen to push ourselves as creatives.
So when it came to the actual production and delivery of the end product, hey no problem. But boy did we have to learn a whole load of legal jargon, do a bunch of research on aggregators and of course dance and funny dance with the wonders of red tape. (Like seriously, no URLs allowed in any frames…really?) But we managed it with the help of the great guys at Bitmax and if you are looking to do something similar then I would highly recommend them.
The plan for us now, is to put some marketing together for February and really get the film out there. It’s all about timing, the more people we can get watching it on day 1, the better the chances of success are for the film. We really believe in the message of the story and we want that to be communicated to as many people as possible. We can’t wait for you to see the finished piece!
